Born and raised in Hull, I trained as an actor at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. I have a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Hull and an MA (Dist) from Queen Mary University of London. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (FRSA) and a Postgraduate Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
